Cardboard Bookcase

Hi again. We were in need of storage space for simple things like books, cables and random bits. So, inspired by the other bookcase we recycled, Leonor designed this simple furniture piece, where we used the same material as the other one. Once again, since this was meant to be a recycled/reused, we started looking for wasted cardboard boxes. Daniel was able to bring some from his part-time job, but the majority of the cardboard was found in the rubbish bins of our building, it was new cardboard just left by one of our neighbors. The design was really simple, 8 shelves and 3 columns. Each shelf and column was made from gluing strips of cardboard until we had the perfect thickness. You have to be patient, but in the end it pays off. We are really happy with the final product and it is much sturdy than the first one.
